  5. Can I transfer funds from accounts in other banks?
  6. Yes you can! To open your account, you may securely and electronically transfer funds from another bank. Some restrictions apply.

  7. How can I access my account?
  8. Once your account is open, you will have 24-hour access via the internet to manage your accounts.

  9. Are there limits on my transactions?
  10. You have a maximum of six (6) transactions available per month.

General information for customers before starting on your account application:
  • Have your checking and/or savings account numbers handy. This will allow you to easily transfer funds between the two accounts via our website, interactive phone service or by calling Five Star Bank at 800.416.6117.
  • For your security, we will ask you to confirm your email address with a multifactor verification process. How this works is: you will receive a confirmation number at the email address entered in the application process. You then will have to retrieve this confirmation number, from your email, and submit it during the application process. Once it is verified, you can proceed with the application process.
  • Once you have transferred the funds, the initial deposit will be withdrawn from your linked account within 1-3 business days of completing the application.
  • There is a 10 business day hold before initial deposits can be withdrawn. After this hold has expired, all future deposits are subject to a 5 business day hold.
  • Capital Green Accounts cannot be used for business, trust, power of attorney, beneficiary or individual retirement accounts.
