At Five Star Bank, our Capital Green Account is just the start of our commitment to a greener community. We’re investing in innovative, clean energy projects throughout the Central Valley of California, with customers who are truly making a difference.

We’re members of SARTA, and we support CleanStart and other area energy initiatives. As corporate sponsors of Sacramento Tree Foundation, we’re supporting the Greenprint Initiative, an exciting community plan to plant 5 million trees!

We’re even greening on our own company. Five Star Bank has become a certified Sustainable Business with the Sacramento Sustainable Business Program. Visit again to learn more about our green partnerships and activities.

Our Green Partners

Green Building is a commitment and process to create innovative buildings, minimizing the use of resources and reducing harmful effects on the environment. Green buildings are healthy for both our homes and workplaces and can be developed efficiently and effectively.

The US Green Building Council provides the nationally accepted benchmarks for design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings with the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System™.

Five Star Bank supports green building and green businesses manufacturing or selling earth-friendly products with funding from the Capital Green Account.
